The Brighton Innovation Zone, sponsored by East Sussex College Group, will offer visitors and exhibitors the chance to watch, try out and discuss some of the most exciting new developments available, as well as discover what support is available to help your business embrace innovation.

Stand I1:  Brighton Innovation Zone sponsor East Sussex College Group

East Sussex College Group will be joining the Brighton innovation zone as sponsors and exhibiting on stand 11. East Sussex College Group will also be joining our afternoon panel. Stand I3: Greenfo- introducing the interactive rickshaw

We’re pleased to welcome Greenfo to the Brighton Innovation Zone at this year’s exhibition. The leading discount company will be bringing their interactive rickshaw. The company offers advertising opportunities to Brighton businesses on the streets of the city. Stand I4 & l5: University of Sussex – the computer that could change our lives and technology you can touch and smell but not see!

We’re pleased to announce that the University of Sussex will be joining our innovation zone at this year’s Brighton exhibition. There will be a chance to get hands on with a prototype of Quantum: The computer that could change our lives. Sussex scientists have invented a ground breaking method that places the construction of a large scale Quantum computer within reach of current technology. Come and quiz their experts to find out more!

You’ll also be able to hear about technology you can touch and smell but not see – interactivity for all the senses! There will also be information available about robotics and machine learning as well as new ways to learn including Fintech courses and online distance learning. Stand I6: Switchplane

Stand I6 will be hosted by custom software specialists Switchplane Ltd. Come and say hi to the team, and learn how their software innovations have freed up significant time for clients.  They are focused on helping medium-sized organisations scale up by building software to solve their specific business challenges.

Switchplane also offer Digital Marketing consultancy, and will be delivering the first seminar of the day at 10.15am exploring ‘The Future of Social Media’. Don’t miss speaker Garry James (Switchplane’s Digital Marketing Manager and published marketing author) uncovering how social media will change for your business in 2020 and what you should be doing in preparation.

Stand I7: Showstorm – Exclusively revealing All Senses Immersion!

Leading virtual and augmented reality company Showstorm will be exhibiting. You can visit Showstorm on stand 17. Managing Director Mark Bellinger will be on hand to exclusively reveal a new innovation – the launch of Showstorm’s unique ASI™ (All Senses Immersion) Virtual Reality Experience.

Mark is inviting exhibitors and visitors to try out the new experience. He says “”There is no point trying to explain VR to people, they simply have to experience it for themselves, it’s a bit like taking the Red Pill in the Matrix, it is the only way to understand the truth and power of Virtual Reality.” Mark will also be giving a seminar at the exhibition at 2pm entitled “Virtual & Augmented Reality 101′ – Everything your business needs to know & how to take an unfair advantage over your competition”. This is one not to be missed!

Stand I8: Green Growth Platform

University led initiative Clean Growth UK is launching in Brighton, exclusively at Let’s Do Business 2019. The Brighton Innovation Zone will play host to the launch where advisors will be on hand to discuss how businesses can help tackle a very timely issue; climate change. The initiative is made up of three Universities; Brighton, Portsmouth and Liverpool John Moores.

Zoe Osmond, Director of Green Growth Platform will also be speaking at 3pm at the exhibition. The team from Clean Growth UK will be on stand I8 throughout the day to discuss what support is available for innovation, plus how businesses can help tackle climate change. They will also be joined by some other exciting innovators including Bamford’s waterblade, PowerQuad, Yandiya Technologies and Giga Turbines.

Stand I11 & Stand I12: West End

West End is an innovative UK business with local roots and a global reach. They are a company of forty uniquely skilled individuals in the event and production industry, making one formidable team. They have evolved with their predominantly pharmaceutical-based clients over the last forty years to establish a first-class studio facility of nearly 4,000 sqm in Eastbourne. If events, production and media are part of your business, be sure to visit them on Stand I11-12 and make an appointment to tour their studios!

Their offices are home to experienced project managers and technicians for events, creative designers and writers, dedicated edit suites, a world class animation and motion graphics department, graphic design and large format digital print studios, print finishing, set fabrication including modular aluminium, composites, joinery, spray shop, engineering and electronics, not to mention one of the largest green screen film studios south of London.

West End also have a comprehensive AV dry-hire business with a vast array of modern stock including HD projection, vision mixing consoles, LED lighting, LED walls, large 4K touch screens, high-powered graphic PCs, PAs, mics, and sound desks. And all under one roof… it’s an astonishing place!

As part of the Innovation Zone, the team will be discussing their development lab working in VR, AR, MR, mobile and web-based solutions, as well as showcasing their cutting-edge RFID wristbands.

D1 & D2: Ram Peripherals

RAM Peripherals will be joining our Brighton Innovation Zone on stands d1 & D2. They will be bringing their CraftBot Plus which has won several awards for its ease of use, print and build quality. It is a machine that schools/universities favour as its reasonable price allows them to purchase good technology within their budget. Recently, CraftBot have partnered with PrintLab curriculum, which means that the machine is available with a curriculum that teachers can use to integrate 3D printing into their lesson plans with greater ease and support.

The CraftBot 3 is the first dual extruder machine in the range, and is geared towards universities and the professional market. It is an open source machine, giving the flexibility to use other whatever filament you desire. Once again, this machine has been priced to allow affordability.
